Man and Woman are Equal in terms of Good Deeds
Allah Taala states in the Quran (Meaning):
"I do not let go to waste the labor of a worker from you, male or female. You are from one another." [Sura Al-Imran: 195 (portion)]
The commentary of this Verse from Tafseer-e-Usmani:
Be a male or a female - neither's hardship fails to be rewarded at the Court of Allah Taala. Regardless of male and female, whoever would accomplish a deed, s/he is certain to get its return. The condition is to accomplish good deed; by doing so, it is of course possible for a woman to attain high-respect in afterlife just like a man. As male and female both belong to human beings, both are the children of Adam (AM), adopted in Islam, partner in the worldly life in the same society, therefore, the deed they accomplish would result in an indifferent return.
Hazrat Umme Salama (R), one of the Ummahatul Mu’mineen, once asked Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam, (Meaning), “Ya Rasulallah Sallallahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam! There is nowhere in Quran mentioned specially about the female’s good deeds, such as: Hijrat of women etc. In this verse is the reply to it.
